On a mission to serve

Lions serve. It’s that simple, and it has been so since we first began in 2005. Our clubs supporting Lions Bhavan are places where individuals join together to give their valuable time and effort to improving their communities, and the world.

Core Objectives

  • To establish, maintain and conduct a Geriatric Day Care Centre.
  • To set up, run, maintain, develop, improve and extend Destitute Homes and Orphanages for the deprived and underprivileged aged , irrespective of caste, creed, religion and community and to educate them ,train and bring them up in an environment of quality and fraternity.
  • To establish, run, develop, maintain, improve, and extend educational and technical institutions, vocational and Industrial Training Centres to impart general and technical education to the poor youth and to equip them to live with confidence and to find out employment.
  • To establish and maintain libraries, Reading Rooms, and Recreation Centres for the benefit of the public.
  • To set up and run clinics, hospitals, blood banks, eye banks, dispensaries’, diagnostic centres, and ambulance service for the poor and the sick people.
  • To establish Mortuaries either Mobile or Permanent to keep dead bodies at reasonable rates
  • To conduct medical camps and eye screening camps for the benefit of the poor and sick people and to distribute medicines. Tonics, spectacles, artificial limbs and like articles free of cost or at subsidized rates.
  • To receive and manage endowments for specific purposes.
  • To provide assistance by way of grant, gifts or cash or materials or otherwise to give relief to poor and destitute persons and widows, requiring medical treatment etc.
  • To encourage and recognize professional excellence for distinguished social service and welfare activities by members and other citizens
  • To purchase land and construct building for the activities of the Foundation, to make improvements and repairs as and when necessary and to equip the building with necessary furniture, instruments etc, for the proper functioning
  • To conduct nurseries, crèches and day care centres for the children and old people.
  • To conduct training programmes such as Home Nurses training course, Hospital at tenders/aids courses, Health Inspectors course and the like courses.
  • To provide services of Home Nurse, Hospital attender etc.on reasonable remuneration to the sick and poor.
  • To organize and conduct seminars, symposia, Panel discussions, orations, literary competitions, leader ship training programmes for the benefit of the public
  • To serve as implementing agency for any service activity and projects sponsored or financed by government or government agencies,
  • To safeguard, protect and provide facility for protection of Rights and equal opportunity to the women of Kerala.
  • To undertake all such activities as shall be necessary for the up-liftment of the poor, orphans, destitute, unemployed, sick and other classes of underprivileged people, irrespective of their caste, creed or religion.
