What we do?
Our work is an approach to living and serving well. To making a real difference people can see and feel. It encompasses four simple phases: Learn, Discover, Act, and Celebrate. We love these words because they transcend organisational formulas. They have no borders. They are the essence of Lions and Leos.
Our Focus
If the past 100 years have taught us anything, it’s that as we serve, we grow. And we were never meant to stop. Service is our journey. Let’s explore it together.
- Medical clinic twice weekly and distribution of medicines free of cost utilised by inmates and elderly persons residing with in a radius of 10 kms.( Medicines donated by Lions)
- Medical laboratory twice weekly utilised by inmates and elderly people residing with in a radius of 10 kms( offered free of cost)
- Dementia home called “ Snehasadanam” housing 12-15 inmates run in association with ARDSI( Alzheimer’s and related Disorders Society of India)
- Vocational Training Centre for Autistic children around 20 of them in association with Lioness Krishnammal Ratnaswamy Vocational Training Centre functioning twice a week
- Free medical camps and distribution of medicines once in three months benefitting around 300 people per camp
- August 15th every year along with flag hoisting, breakfast is served to inmates and other elderly people who visit Lions Bhavan regularly.
